Arthritis

Knee osteoarthritis, also known as “wear and tear” arthritis is a common condition particularly in the middle and older aged patient.

Knee Replacement

Unicompartmental knee replacement (UKR) is an option for a small percentage of patients with osteoarthritis of the knee.

ACL Tear

The knee has 4 important ligaments – two cruciate ligaments and two collateral ligaments.

PCL Tear

PCL is the largest of the knee ligament and is attached from the back of the tibia to the front of the femur. It stabilises the tibia to backward translation.

Dr Shilpa Moonot ,having done MBA in healthcare from London, worked for 12 years in the UK. She has been in Mumbai for last 8 years, worked for investment bank, managing healthcare portfolio. She is the director of Mumbai Knee Foot Ankle clinic and founder of Moonot Healthcare foundation. She is now working for business development and strategic marketing for healthcare projects.
